Does your group have a GSR?

The strength of our whole A.A. service structure starts with THE GROUP and with the general service representative (G.S.R.) which the group elects. We cannot emphasize too strongly the G.S.R.’s importance.

The General Service Representative (G.S.R.s) has been named by some as “the most important job in AA”. GSR’s are the very foundation of our service structure and the group’s voice at district meetings, area assemblies, and eventually to the General Service Conference. The GSR also carries information from district, area, and world service back to the group.
